About Carol Schroeder

I come from a musical family, especially on my mom side. My mom sing all the time and they did not let me, they said I was to little to sing with them. But I have always been around music in some way. I had never really thought of getting involved in music myself until all I wanted to do was sing. It was a really cool for me!

It was three songs by two of my major influences. I would listed to Rock & Roll back in the days. So it was Melissa Etheridge with “Dance Without Sleeping”. It got me to cry. At that time it was the only song that has done that to me. The next was “Come To My Window”  the cd’s are great they are “Never Enough” and “Yes I AM”. The next was Trisha Yearwood with “She’s In Love With The Boy” that was the first country song that I heard and I loved it. Knowing that she would go far. I learned the songs note for note. When my mom and dad were down in the living room and I was in my room, I would sing at the top of my lungs. And that was after they got me a microphone. So I had to get out and start to sing for the people.

The first time I would sing was at a fair when I was in 5 grade. I was scared but I did sing “Country Road Take Me Home” I have it on video somewhere. LOL. The next was in the backyard at my mom and dad house. I had never been so nervous in my life. That was the first and family from all over was at the house. The next was at a park. That right a park! I was more nervous then before in my life. That was the first you can say public performance ever, and I was sing the best songs. I will not forget that for two things. It was the first. And what it felt like as the crowd stood on their feet for me. Yes, there was a crowd. WOW!! What pressure! I was hooked. It been 15 years since I have done something with music and a lot has change. I got married, I moved to Nashville and back to Ohio. I fought the good fight with cancer. So I missed sing and touring that I had to make a come back.

Thanks for stopping by!!!!
